About the Market
The Market will be open to the public on Saturdays beginning the first Saturday in May, to the last Saturday in September, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Vendors may begin to arrive and set up no earlier than 7:00 am. No early sales to the public, but vendors may sell to each other before the 8:00 am starting time.
Vendor Rules and Regulations
As a service to the community, booth/stall fees will not be charged to vendors.
Vendors must abide by all applicable federal, state, local health and label regulations. (Refer to Missouri Cottage Food Laws - Cottage Food Laws By State and the Missouri Grown USA.
Vendors must complete and sign the appended vendor application, acknowledging items to be sold at the vendor’s booth, code of conduct, and liability waiver agreement.
Vendor should set their own prices.
Cuba Farmers Market is not responsible for product liability or the paying of sales taxes for individual vendors.
Canopies, tents and umbrellas shall always be safely secured with heavy weights. The parking lot pavement must not be damaged. Unsecured tents may not be used.
Vendor signage must be safely secured and not impose a hazard. Any signage that obstructs the view of another vendor's booth or extends into the public walk area is not allowed.
All children in the care of vendors during Market hours need to be supervised by an adult at the vendor's stall.
Electricity and trash disposal is not supplied to vendors.
Vendors are responsible for cleaning up their booth/stall space and parking area after the Market closes.
No political signage allowed at Market.
No smoking will be allowed in the Market area.
Inappropriate language or behavior, profanity, or other harassment or abuse by a vendor or participant or customer of the Market is grounds for immediate and permanent expulsion from the Market.
Any grievance regarding vendors should be directed to the Market manager.
Market layout, including vendor booth/stall locations, public walk areas, parking, and access are illustrated in figure 1 below. Adherence to map guidance and rules associated with the Market layout must be followed.
